END.SARS.NOW

I am constantly taken aback by the audacity with which so many people confuse responsibility with abuse. Take for instance a parent who knows its their responsibility to ensure their child is disciplined but because of that parent child power dynamic, they end up abusing that child in the name of discipline.

Too many uniformed bullies have been roaming our streets with the “responsibility” of ensuring the safety and security of the people. Unfortunately, this can be described more as the abuse and torment of the people. SARS…. SARS… SARS… How many times did I call you? Special Anti-Robbery unit of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Arbi? More like Federal Republic Bullies of civilians.

We stand and shame racism and systems with oppression built in their DNA’s in places like America. At least over here, we know we as Black people are not the majority (though that is gradually changing). Now being in a country where everyone looks like you yet you face similar torment???? KILODE??? What is this?

If it is a democracy, people have the legal right to demonstrate so why are you banning demonstrations. BUHARI and co??? What muscle are you trying to flex?? Abeg..watch yourself oh.. because the youth are the fuel that drive the nation and THEY have spoken about what they need. END SARS NOW! If these uniformed bullies have misinforming job duties, just dismantle it all together. After all that will save you some salary which you can use to build and maintain essential infrastructure.

We are tired. My people… WE DON TIRE! I am calling on all Black people who read this, let everyone know our Nigerian brother and sisters need us more than ever. They are exerting pressure and they are being killed for it. Cases like this happened in South Africa when the youth rallied and lives were lost. Let the bloodshed end and for once, lets have leaders not POLITRICK-CIANS.
